“Hamilton” lidera indicações ao Tony Awards 2016 – Veja a lista

As nomeações para o Tony Awards 2016 chegaram batendo recordes. “Hamilton”, musical de Lin-Manuel Miranda (autor de “In The Heights”) angariou nomeações em 16 categorias, incluindo melhor musical, melhor ator em um musical (dois concorrentes!), melhor ator coadjuvante (novamente duas indicações), melhor atriz coadjuvante, melhor direção de um musical, melhor texto para um musical, melhor partitura, melhor cenografia, melhor iluminação, melhor figurino para um musical, melhor coreografia e melhor orquestração.

O feito de Lin-Manuel Miranda superou os musicais recordistas em indicações na premiação, “The Producers” e “Billy Elliot” nomeados em 15 categorias. Vale lembrar que “Hamilton” também faturou neste ano o Grammy de melhor álbum de teatro musical em fevereiro deste ano.
